Hotel Astoria is on a busy central intersection (but well soundproofed) and is a good location to organise sightseeing from.

- Breakfast was adequate, but staff were slow in providing a fresh table. It was poor overall when compared to the high standards of the hotel in all other areas.

+ Location is very convenient, because you can almost reach all the main monuments just by walking through the city. We appreciated this old fashion hotel very well decorated with beautiful pieces of furniture .
- May be a bit noisy, despite the double glass windows, particularly due to ambulance and police cars.

- Didn't meet the standards of a 4 star hotel, very old, no sign of renovation, very poor in all aspects...they didn't even have prices for the minibar in the room...totally unacceptable.

- Private car park was apparently under reconsctruction and I spent about 6 hours to find any car park in Budapest that is for long stay

+ El olor de la habitacion 602 era desagradable. Solicite que se solucionara. Me dijeron que ya lo habian solucionado. No era verdad. Solicite un cambio de habitacion y me dieron la 215 que era muy oscura y mas pequeña.

+ La habitación que nos facilitaron no se correspondia con las estrellas del hotel, al día siguiente nos compensaron con una habitación excelente. Hotel ideal para acceder al centro de Pest y también de Buda.
- Cuando nos dieron la nueva habitación todo era bueno menos el desayuno buffet, el café era malísimo. El trato del pesonal muy bueno y excelente ubicación.

+ Lovely rooms, and nice architecture.
- Tha hotel had big problems with charging out MasterCard, and fortunately we brouth a Visa card, and paid with that. But, this was a business trip, and the creditcard of the company is Mastercard, so we had to paid the hotel stay with private money. That was very disappointing, and the hotel staff was not helpful at all.
