+	ich war stark von der Werbung beeinflußt, mein letzter Besuch vor vielen Jahren hat mir alte Reminiszenz wiedergespiegelt, die ich diesmal leider vermisst habe.
-	das Hotel fällt leider langsam aber sicher auseinander. Die Zimmergöße entspricht der der damaligen Erbauung, gut so. Die Einrichtung könnte verbessert werden. Der alte Flair kann nicht nur ausschließlich durch Lakaien am Eingang wiederhergestellt werden. Die Therme entspricht nicht den heute üblichen Erwartungen eines SPA's, die kathegorische Trennung zwischen Männlein und Weiblein sollte fallen, bequeme Ruhemöglichkeiten (z.B. Liegestühle) anstelle biederer Sessel könnten mehr Entspannung und Inhalte geben. Das Buffet ist auch etwas antiquiert. Das Personal war bei unserer Ankunft präsent und sehr hilfreich, bei der Abfahrt jedoch etwas sehr desinteressiert.

+	The staff was great. The food was very good and the location was excellent.
-	The first room we were given was terrible. Very old and run down. Received a much better room after the complaining. Everything was great after that.

+	General layout design and hotel architecture.
-	The spa attached to the hotel, now operated as a franchise, leaves much to be desired. It cannot be compared with the excellent way the Hotel used to run this side of the business. The atmosphere and the apparent lack of professionalism acts to provide only a thoroughly disagreeable experience. In the event that we return to the Hotel we will surely not repeat this particular activity.

+	The location was good and the spa and mineral baths were as expected and the reason we chose to stay there in oder to refesh from our long plane journey. The personnel were polite and helpful.
-	The hotel is located in a very old building which in its self was appealing, however, apparently management does not maintain the facilities as it should be. The carpet is worn, wood surfices need to be touched up in places. The conditions present a worned look. The bahtrooms are quite dated. We had grea location and the room was adequate but accessories were lacking.

+	I wanted to visit the Gellert Bath and chose the hotel next to it.
-	The room and furnitures were total outdated.It was a big, big disapointment.

+	the hotel is old but has a lot of history and charm. It is perfect with the bath in conection with the hotel. Lovely breakfeast. The location is really good and the transport possibilities are right outside the door.

+	Enjoyed the thermal baths
-	At night The Gellert looks wonderful when lit up. Entering the foyer started to tell us a different story. Entering our room 376 "overlooking the patio or outdoor swimming pool" said it all. The view - over the road to housing could be seen if we dare to stand on the shabby paint splattered rusty and broken tiled balcony. the 2 single beds pushed together didnt allow the door to close, a hotch potch of furniture, no security safe,no airconditioning or fan in a room facing the southern sun on days with temperatures in the 30s, noisey and unable to close windows due to heat. SHABBY . It is in urgent need of update.

-	This beautiful hotel badly needs complete restoration. The Gellert that I stayed in 20 years ago was a much finer hotel. I hate watered down fruit juice at breakfast.

+	Excellent staff ready to provide any service you need. Walking distance to the city center and public transport in front of the hotel. Breakfast and dinners are exceeding this hotel category in choice and quanity.
-	I would probably not chose any more for the standard room category next time. Rooms are cleaned every day of course but not to the expectation of a 4-star hotel.

+	As you can see above we were happy with everything; location, staff, accomodation, dinner etc. Breakfast was super! Enjoyed the spa enormously! And we loved the City!
