We visited Budapest only for one day. Thanks to the excellent public transport facilities we have seen a lot of this beautiful town. At the entrance of a metrostation, we bought a 'Napijegy' for only 1500 forint. With such a ticket you can travel 24 hours through Budapest and use every tram, bus or metro. The public transport system in Budapest is absolutely fabulous. Waiting for a tram or metro is a matter of only a few minutes! [Such tickets are also avaiable for more than one day of course]. We choose for hotel Platanus which is situated only 200 meters from a metrostation. And seeing how the management translated our 'judgement' regarding the hotel and its staff, they could have made all the figures '6' into a '7' in my opinion.
