Best Western Hotel Art, once a popular meeting place of artists, offers a historic atmosphere, air-conditioned rooms, fitness and conference facilities, as well as a fine restaurant with a uniquely traditional Hungarian cuisine in the heart of downtown Budapest.

Located in a quiet street between Kalvin Square and the Danuberiver, the tree-star hotel welcomes guests in 32 modern, newly renovated rooms, where equipment includes safe, minibar, free wiFi Internet connection, telephone and TV.

The hotel building, renovated in 1994, received a pro-architecture award - apart from its comfortable guestrooms, it includes a sauna, a fitness room, a restaurant, and a conference room fit to accommodate 30 persons.

The room was small, but fine for just one person. It was very clean. I couldn't have had a more convenient place to stay. Walking distance to the Customs House Market and several Museums - not to mention all the cafes. Very close to the Kalvin Ter metro station as well as bus and tram stops. The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions as well as offering suggestions.
