+ standard of accommodation good English language skills of front desk staff excellent choice and quality of buffet breakfast
- a detailed map of the location of the hotel would have been helpful - I had to ring the reservations agency for directions (which were given very clearly in excellent English by a very knowledgeable lady). It would be helpful to be told that the Elizabeth Bridge runs through the middle of marcius 15 ter and that the hotel is to the left of the bridge when facing the river.

Great Short Break in City Hotel Matyas

+ The shower in our room developed a leak and the hotel staff moved us to a differnet room without any fuss. Ideal location very close to Vaci Utca (Fashion Street). Within easy reach of many of the tourist attractions, bars and restaurants. Staff very polite and very helpful.

- one of older (silver grey hair) male staff being very ill-mannered saying about some advice...'Don't ask me if you don't do what I say!' Could not believe it. Other staff were fine.

+ large and clean room, noisy location but the room was very well insulated
- there was no way to obtain complete darkness in the room during the night (the tents where indadeguate), if you like "sweet" breakfast you will not appreciate the limitated choice at the buffet. there was a ramp of stairs a the entrance without an access for invalid people.

- Use of Internet on their computer was useless. Unable to read Hungary and the desk was too busy to help. I wasted my 1 hour time purchased on a card from them. Unable to connect to my email as well as get info to Hotel Start of cancellation of tours we had scheduled through Hotel Start.
