City Hotel Matyas was the founding member of the City Hotel chain. Value for money hotel in the center of town

 
Old building and after passing the unrestaured entrance hall you come into a very pleasant hotel situated above the famous Mattyas Pince restaurant with an excellent Hungarian kitchen and live gypsy musik and folklore dance during evening dinner. The place to stay for Budapest lovers who want to get to know the city in a few day. All sites at walking distance and public transport around the corner. Very suitable for budget travellers who want to enjoy the comfort of a decent hotel.
