Castle Hotel Fried

The history of the castle goes back to the early 20th century - the beautiful Secessionist style castle was built by Imre Fried, the owner of the largest leather factory in Hungary. Following reconstruction work, the castle has gotten back its original beauty and the newly rebuilt, beautiful place was opened in 2005 as a luxury four stars hotel with 20 rooms.

The atmospheric rooms are comfortable, the stairs made of noble woods and guarded by carved dragons are uniquely wonderful. The rooms of the castle have an old spirit, with original oak-tree parquet and neat furnishing, but at the same time are fully equipped with modern bathroom, minibar, bathrobe, telephone, air-conditioning and TV.

The castle is surrounded by a beautiful French park, with huge trees, little roads, fountains, flowers, playground, bowling and grill place. In case of bad weather, the wellness services (jacuzzi, sauna and a pool), ping-pong, table soccer, cards and board games are waiting for the guests.

The conference rooms of the castle with a full range of technical accessories are ideal places for conferences or trainings.
The hotel has its own grape hills with winecellars, where guests can taste homemade wines and take part in open-air grill parties. The forests in the neighbourhood, rich in wild animals, are ideal for hunting and the nearby Lake Miszlai is a paradise for fishermen.
