+ Helpfulness and friendliness of reception desk staff. - Seemingly unfriendliness of kitchen staff. No smiles or greetings in the morning. Also, quality of coffee could be improved by brewing it from freshly ground beans. We found out that eggs were available on our last day there, but no mention of this had been made by a written note or by the dining room staff. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel on the Buda side of the city. Except for a number of barking dogs in the neighborhood, this is an ideal location near public transportation on the number 8 bus line to the busy Pest side of town. We enjoyed visiting the many historical places of this crowed city, especially a two-hour evening boat trip on the Danube, complete with entertainment and dinner. A two-hour guided bus tour covering many of the important historical venues was also well worth the money paid.
