Hotel Ambra - A very comfertable stay in Hotel AmbraCity: Budapest

Staff: I called prior to my reservation to check my booking and pre-payment and already then received great service and noted the friendy staff. Upon arrival the staff made sure that we got to check in first even though there was someone else before us who had a question for the staff. All through our stay the three different people at the desk were all very friendly. Room: Our room was a standard double room which we had booked. The room was clean, spacious, included a big closet, TV, minibar, two wall mirrors and a safe. The colours of the wall blended too well with the curtains. The room suited us well as we could get ready both in the bathroom and bedroom in the morning, the bed was big enough for us to sit in and watch TV, but if we had been there for a more romantic relaxed stay we probably would have wanted something bigger. There was also a Budapest tourist booklet in the room which we got some good tips from. There were also flyers and magazines in the lobby. Breakfast: Bread, hams, cheeses, cereal, beans, bacon, scrambled eggs. Very average. Location: Close to the huge interior shop Goa, restaurants (Donatella's Kitchen, Fausto's, etc.). Between Lizst Tčr (lots of restaurants, cafčs and some monuments) and Deak Ferenc (metro station, the shopping street Vaci Utca), and near the cosy street Raday Ucta filled with restaurants and some shops. 2008. 11. 04.
