we were touring around europe on our motorbike en route to croatia and decided to short stay in buadpest , so we wanted a reasonably priced,clean hotel. the room was fine but ours looked out onto the main road , traffic was ok but trams were noisy but passed the hotel pretty quickly, so not noisey for long. the rooms at the back of the hotel would be a lot better, but we had an uprated room which was very good. so in many ways made up for the noise. trams stopped at a decent hour in the evening but started fairly early,people have to get to work ! the hotel was situated pretty centrally , with only a short walk to restaurants etc. overall , not bad place to stop, but, if you want to spend a lot of time in your room go for the rear rooms .
