- Not being allowed to get a late cup of tea as the hot water machine was getting switched off and wheeled away from the breakfast area.

A modern hotel with no classic interior, but very welcoming, interesting art work for sale, and overall, a decent decor. Super location for the National Gallery and others, and small walking distance from Heroes Square and a lovely wooded park. A brisk 15 minute walk takes you to the excellent Szechenyi Bath and Spa. Easy access to the metro and 10 minute journey to the centre of Budapest. Hotel counter staff provide an excellent service.
