The Hotel Carlton is very well located on the Buda side of Budapest, right at the foot of the Chain Bridge. It takes less than 10 minutes walking to the Pest side and to the nearest metro station. We had a family room for 4, with a separated room for the parents. It was really quiet and clean. The buffet for breakfast was generous and varied. The receptionist we first saw at our arrival was really nice and accomodating. The garage beneath the hotel is very convenient and has a direct access to the hotel by lift. The only "negative" point is that this hotel is in no way luxurious and doesn't deserve 4 stars but rather 3.
