+ Excellent location at the city centre and just a few minutes walk to a Metro station. Rooms were of reasonable size, bright and very clean. Beds were very comfortable and gave good support. - The taxi fare to airport booked through the hotel was 5,500 Ft, which was 1,000 Ft more than the fare we were charged when we took the taxi from the airport to the hotel. We felt ripped-off by the hotel. Pillows were far too soft and did not provide adequate support. Romote control for TV did not functioned properly, but this was not a major issue. Please use the name "A traveler from London" for my review below. We visited Budapest solely for sightseeing. We were travelling in a group of four, all adults. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms and the comfortable beds. The rooms were of average business hotel room size and very bright. As we stayed during the time there was a "3 for 4" promotion going on, we found the room tariff reasonable. The location of this hotel is excellent; just a few minutes walk from the nearest metro station. Indeed if your interest is in shopping, you will find plenty of places within walking distance. There are also plenty of good restaurants around the hotel. Due to its central location, we had found it more economical just to buy books of ticlets (in a set of ten) instead of the Budapest Card for our travelling needs. The front desk staff of the hotel was friendly and ready to provide assistance when required. The housekeeping staff would greet us in the morning with a smiling face. The room rate included breakfast. There were plenty of choices and the quality of food was good. We could eat as much as we liked. We did not dine in the hotel in the evenings and therefore could not comment in that respect.
