+ The staff and the facilities were excellent. Thank you for giving me a room with a view on the front. I would like to talk to your management about bringing a group of ladies for a weekend in the autumn or winter to use the spa and also to have ballroom dance lessons. We have a local teacher and we would need the use of your ballroom during the day and evening. Please ask one of your event managers to get in touch with prices.
- The food was disappointing - particularly the bread which looked better than it tasted. My bed was not particularly comfortable. I was only given one bottle of shower gel.

+ I love the Gellert for the fine dining, the historical value and the GREAT GREAT thermal bath. Price was very good, too
- In absolute terms, my single room was not the cutting edge in furniture and services (no minibar), but it's clean and affordable, quiet and good view. Better that room at that price that design furniture, minibar, dvd at twice the price.

+ Breakfrast is really great. Personnel is very friendly and pretty quick
- Room: bed was good, but chairs, wardrobes etc. rather worn out, too few places to deposit in bathroom. But what worries most: guests are asked to take on bathrobe in the room, but then you enter the hot springs through the public entry, where peopls in street cloths cross. Its not only insanitary, but also a bit frustrating. Further, the way to the bath hall is very long, and it's complicated to get a bath cabin

+ + výborná poloha + celkově nádherný hotel, který má své jedinečné kouzlo + přímý vstup starým výtahem do termálních lázní (a to rovnou v županu,který si obléknete v klidu ve svém hotelovém pokoji). Výtah vás totiž odveze přímo do budovy termálních lázní - jen pro hosty hotelu
- - v koupelně hotel.pokoje není fén a hotelová kosmetika (stávající kvalitou odpovídá max.2*hotelu) - WC je ve špatném stavu (jsou staré a páchnou odpady, žádná možnost větrání) - termální lázně jsou otevřeny pouze max. do 18 hodin (což po celodenní turistické procházce městem nestíháte časově, jste-li ubytování pouze 2-3 dny) - téměř žádná velikonoční výzdoba, abychom násáli tu atmosféru svátečního víkendu (v našem termínu) - malá kapacita snídaňové restaurace ( po 9té hodině nebylo kam si sednout - museli jsme si najít "sami" stolek ve foyer - neorganizované)

+ The service and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food was very good and the location great with bus and tram outside the door. Easy to walk into the city centre. Access to Spa facilities made it a perfect choice. It had old world charm.

+ Skvělý je volný vstup do lázní po celý den, skvělý je personál recepce, skvělé jsou kvalitní snídaně
- Teplá voda na pokoji 337 ve sprše tekla pouze "naoko", v dálkovém ovladači na TV chyběly baterie, lednice se po dobu pobytu nepodařilo zprovoznit, za suchý župan každé ráno asi nebudu jediný, který by si připlatil. Uvítal bych rovněž snídaně do 10:30 pro spáče, jako jsem já.

+ The whole atmosphere of style and grandeur. That I (Hans K as the teamleader) got the most excellent and quite Room 237. Also, for me, the neighbourhood. And, your breakfast. A dream!
- When there were a problem with my Visa-card the desk-man showed no intrest in helping us.He just stated there were a problem. 8Connection with Sweden?). We solved it with an other card.

+ the restaurant, and friendliness, and helpfulness of all the staff. They all tried to communicate in english, and were very attentative.
- The decor in the bedroom was so dated and looked shabby the bath seemed to have a lack of enamel and scratched your back and bottom. There was no handbasin in the toilet, so you had to walk through to the bathroom. Also there was no ventilation in the toilet!!! Otherwise, it was fantastic.

+ The hotel stuff was very kind, starting from the reception gays and finishing with the lady on thermal bath entrance
- The price of the room and the comfort provided are absolutely non compatible! The room which cost more then 100 euro is dirty, small, with ridiculous furniture! In my room one window was missing, after i asked to change a room because due to a terrible noise coming from the bath pool (i guess) it was not possible to sleep there, i had another one, with broken shower!

- The rooms were small, and especially the bathroom was oldfashioned and too small!! The shower was not good and there was not a hairdryer awailable.

- Musikken i frokostsalen. Etter seks morgener var det nok med For Elise. Greitt at musikken passa til omgivelsene, men med all den kultur hotelleet skal ha i ryggen, břr det utvide sitt reportoar i En by full av kultur, og med en opera i sćrklasse. Hĺper hotellet beholder sittsćrpreg om det skal moderniseres igjen, noe som kanskje er nřdvendig med oransje fliser pĺ badegulvet. men la det ikke bli som med cafe New York eller Lukas, der alt er blitt italiensk, platt og har mista sćrpreget totalt.

- I felt that the food at breakfast was just okay, but the food service staff was uninterested in doing their job. They spent their time talking with each other and ignoring the patrons. I found this to be very unprofessional.

+ loved the atmosphere, and the food in the brassserie was good
- but the food in the dining room was execrable - the worst ever. Orchestra members were intimidating to diners; drink ordered (Bacardi and coke called a Cuba Libre) was on card at 2000huf - when bill came it was 2200huf! 10% added to the bill automatically. In the spa which is not necessarily run by the hotel but by another company, two American girls discussing it said it was "the least user-friendly experience" of her life. Agreed.

- Room was a disgrace. Dirty and badly maintained. Stained carpets, wallpaper torn. Rated 2 star, if that. When brought to concierge's attention refused to change room and indicated if we gave him a bribe then maybe he would change room. Due to stay 3 nights we checked out of both rooms after 1. General manager apologised in morning and stated he was having difficulties with certain staff. Informed of room condition he did not offer any compensation just explained the hotel was being renovated. Unfortunately not the 2 rooms we had. Resent paying 4 star prices for 2 star accomodation. I have stayed at the Gellert before some 12 years ago, sad to see it has declined so much.

+ the service and care were very high. just like you get in the far east and sadly long forgotten in UK and europe! the staff were extremely helpful. and the services were consistent and high standard. i was impressed. i got a lot of things i didnt ask for!!! in short they really made me comfortable.
- One night the hotel heating broke down so it was a cold night. they had fixed the problem by the next day and they did ask me if i was OK.

+ The hotel is very nice. I could enter spa ever day,it is very comfotable. The weathers were too bad during my stay. But I spent my time to treat my body by spa and massage.
- The room was too small. I think it is not good four 4 stars hotel. And a bed was terrible, it was too hard to sleep well. The location is far from city side. If it was fine, It was easy to go around. But it was rain and really cold during my stay.

- Brasserie Restaurant meal was mediocre and sevice was incomplete and inattentive. Avoid. Room did not have internet connection.

+ Attentive staff and superior dining experience with Josef Badi . Our Waiter that evening was remarkable and both made for a memorable evening.All staff were most courteous and helpful.
- Some confusion at the spa baths where to go etc. but a wonderful experience.

+ The use of the spa and the fabulous attentive helpful staff. Our prompt removal to a quiet room when we complained about noise at 1 am.
- Decor in the bedrooms was tired and jaded and renovations on the spa gave us a noisy night.
