+ breakfast was fine exept the dark bread was never refild when the basked was empty
- We had not the room we asked and payd for. In the room it was licht al night and noisy; So it was not easy to sleep .Licht came from the lamps after the glaswindow, that was on hole night.There was a smel in the corner of the hall of the room everythime,we flosh the toilet

- Paying extra for access to the baths. This is on top of high costs for the hotel.

tobacco smoke in the gellert hotel!

- There was awfull smell of tobacco in our room, it was difficult to breath and spend time in the room, and our eyes were bright red after the stay and our luggage was stinking. As a family with young child I coudl not believe it would be possible that hotel would give us a room from a part where it is actually allowed to smoke inside, especially as nobody had mentioned anything about it to us - very upsetting not to mention the health hazard!

- Hotel inside looks like the museum of communist time and definitely requires a lot renovation, rooms come with the minimum comfort (no wifi, no kettle with tea, the old style cathodic TV)

- Some one at the reception was not very nice when I asked for the 2nd time for something, like he was bothered. For that money, I think there should be things like tooth paste in the toilet, better breakfast (I saw some insects in the vinager, croissants were hard as a stone, salad was clearly from yesterday) and the rooms are a bit old, I´m ok with that, but for that money one expects more.

- I think the appearance and decor of the rooms should have been revamped. It's nice to stay in a place that has a bit of history but that can be accomplished by having some newer things I.e. better chairs outside and furniture inside.

- The bathroom facilities need some attention. Bidet didn't work properly and toilet flush very poor and needs better cleaning.

- Brasserie staff service was a bit disappointing, I had to leave because no one served me and I went elsewhere; also having to pay to use gellert swimming each day extra and them closing so early

- The bathroom was in need of updating and was hot and stuffy. It was very hot and it took a while to obtain a fan.
