+ Location was great, building was lovely, breakfast was good. - Single room - not very welcoming - was shown a choice of 3 and none were brilliant. Bathroom was very good however. Curtains didn't close properly, and room was next to service area which meant being woken up each morning at 6 am. Hotel location great, building lovely to look at, however old fashioned inside - may be in need of refurbishment. Thermal baths were a real experience and the lady in the lift was a delight. As a single traveller I had booked a single room, and it really was not up to much - single bed, scruffy furniture, patchy carpet, next to service area so was woken up each morning at 6 am by cleaning staff. However, it was only a room and I was there to sightsee, which I did and there are some wonderful places to see and visit. It would have been nice if my room had been better, but on the whole hotel was OK. Certainly wouldn't rate it 4 stars but was ok.
