Great stay in Budapest - shame about the hotel renovations!

- The hotel was undergoing renovations but they neglected to inform us of this before we arrived. We only found out as we went to check-in. They then told us they would be finishing at 5pm on that Thursday but neglected to inform us that they would also be taking place Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This meant being woken up by extremely loud drilling at 7:30 on a Saturday morning which if you've been out drinking the night before is not partically pleasant! Finally we were asked to leave at 8am on a Sunday morning! Not impressed at all. If I had known that renovations were taking place I would never have stayed here. They also tried to overcharge us by 45 Euros so be sure to check your bill!

- there was no shower-gel, and after cleaning the only thing that was filled up was the schampo: "schampo and conditioner" and "hair and body gel" is not the same thing...one is only for the hair, and one is for both

- Nella prenotazione non era stato indicato che la camera assegnata aveva un water-bed matrimoniale che non era di nostro gradimento: a nostra richiesta ci è stata cambiata la camera con una nettamente meno confortevole (mancava un comodino e relativa lampada, mancava un piano di appoggio bagagli, il televisore appoggiava sul frigorifero)

- Das Zimmer war zwar gross, aber etwas unzweckmässig eingerichtet. Statt 2 riesiger Betten wäre ein Tisch mit Stuhl vorteilhafter. Im Bad wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten. Es hat der Hinweis gefehlt, ob Raucher- oder Nichtraucherzimmer
