We were very satisfied qith the choice of Hotel Pest for our three day stay in Budapest lin July 2008. Its situation is excellent and you can walk to most of the tourist attractions. Despite being so close to the Opera and Andrassy street the street where the hotel is located is very quiet. The hotel was comfortable, its rooms rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, and the staff were helpful. Though we would definitely come back and would recommend it to any friend, I would like to point out a couple of things to prevent future guests rom being a bit dissapointed. In the first place, don't expect the coziness the photographs suggest:rooms are really austere, almost monachal and the lovely inner courtyard which you can see in the advertisements in fact correspontds to the adjoining building; you can see that from your rooms on the other side of the courtyard, but don't expect the hotel rooms to be in there.
