Hotel Platanus is a friendly hotel located on the Pest side of the capital, in the neighbourhood of a large park (Népliget). It's close to the M3 underground line and it is easy to approach from the direction of the city centre: Blue Underground Line (No. 3.) or Tram No. 1 at Népliget stop.

Two one-night stays in Budapest

 
On travel by air to and from Bukarest, from and to our homecountry, we choose to spend 24 hrs in both instances in Budapest. Your hotel is simple, but nice and neat. And its location allowed us to access the downtown or other areas of Budapest in an easy manner by subway or tram, while our luggage waited at the hotel and our short intermediate stop there onroute to Ferihegy. We travelled to and from the airport by local bus and subway. Very inexpensive and possible because the location of the hotel was near the Ferencváros Stadium subway station.
