A new four-star hotel is due to be opened in the downtown of Szeged, in spring 2011. A spacious apartment and fifteen hotel rooms are going to be hewed on the upper floor of the Burger House which counts as a national monument.

In order to give back its original beauty, the Burger House was brought under construction on the summer of 2009; in February 2010, they started to reconstruct a hotel in the House. Reconditioning will get to an end in January 2011, the hotel itself might be opened around March or April. According to the big headroom, bedroom galleries will be formed in the hotel rooms, and a luxury apartment will be placed in the corner of the building.
