We are two retired people from Helsinki, Finland. Many years ago we visited Budapest, and wanted now to come back. Hotel Mercure City Center was recommended to us at a Travel Exhibition in Helsinki, January 2008. We made the hotel reservation through Internet. In general, we enjoyed our stay in Budapest and Hotel Mecure in March 2008. The location of the hotel is excellent (in the beginning, the hotel entrance at Petöfi Sandor u. side was somewhat difficult to identify). Positive issues were, among others, good breakfast, friendly and helpful people at the reception desk, and tasty snacks in the lobby bar. We greatly appreciated the cleanliness of our room. Even if it was not possible to have dinner in the hotel, there were numerous good restaurants at the vicinity. It would be nice to make coffee or tea in the hotel room. There remains still much to be seen and experienced in Budapest, not to speak of the surrounding areas outside the City. We certainly will return some day, and Hotel Mercure City Center will then be our choice. 2008. 03. 28. Hotel Reviews - Mercure Budapest City Center - Back
