+ location to underground very good. room clean, tidy and compact. Breakfast basic but topped up regularly all fresh and plenty of it. - The room we stayed in, Number 31, had a high window looking out into the corridor. this is for extra light in room I expect but the corridor main light, if left on over night would shine in the room all night and would keep you awake, the light in the corridor was left on several nights as other guests would need the light to get to there room. A timer would be good on this light or a curtain over the rooms internal bedroom entrance which could be drawn to block out the light would be good too, either options would help. This hotel is everything you need for a short stay in Budapest it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the underground and this alone opens up the city to you. Its not far from a shop & cafe & bar if you want to stay close for a drink or get some supplies. Breakfast is basic but plenty of it, cereal, yogurt, toast, jam, pate, cheese, meats, bread or rolls with tea, coffee & juice. The rooms are clean, basic, comfortable and tidy. The bathroom consisted of a shower, sink & toilet and was clean. The staff were very friendly and tried to help the best they could offering plenty of advise & "must see's".
