-	long lines at check-in, with a pair of record-slow receptionists manning the fort in a random pattern, ie. first come last serve or the other way around, depending on who they establish eye contact with; finding a set of used glasses and coffee cups already observed upon check-in at the lobby lying around the same exact spot in the evening as well; 45-minute wait for a tasteless dinner (note: "fresh green salad" equals slices of tomato and cucumber soaked in olive oil; also, beer is a good reminder why not to order draft in places you don't trust), with 3 not only smileless but outright hostile waiters working like 50 impatient or already intimidated tables at dial-up speed; some room cleaning provided in the late afternoon, cleaning or replacing a used coffee cup apparently not being part of the service; when finally picking up the phone after about 5 failed attempts, in response to an inquiry about fresh towels the head of housekeeping suggests that I should go find the maid myself since it is "probably easier for everyone".
