The four-star-superior Saliris Resort Spa & Conference Hotel opened in 2010 in Egerszalok, in the valley of Lasko stream, six kilometers from Eger. Egerszalok's real attraction, on the southern side of the village, is the thermal spring erupting from deep in the earth and limestone hill created by water runoff, which over the years has come to be known as "salt hill."

Out of the 204 rooms, there are 102 Standard, 52 Superior, 40 Superior Plus rooms, nine Suites, and one Presidential Suite. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen television with access to a large number of channels, as well as a telephone, wired internet connection, mini-bar, safe, air conditioning and heating, coffee and tea-making equipment, and bathrobe. All of the rooms have a terrace.

In 1992, the Ministry of Health qualified the thermal waters of Egerszalok as "medicinal." Saliris Resort Medicinal and Wellness Spa has received guests since July 2007. A glass passage connects the hotel and the Spa. A total of 17 outdoor and indoor pools are located in the facility, with a water surface of 1900 squaremeters.

Indoors, there are two Finnish saunas, a bio sauna, thermium, steam room, aroma cabin, and a diving pool, while outdoors there are two Finnish sauna houses made out of logs.

The medicine offers mainly rheumatology and rehabilitation treatments.

Pools and saunas will be closed between 2013.04.15-2013.04.19. and 2013.10.14-18. because maintenance operations.
