                     Velence Resort and Spa is located on the shore of the Velence Lake, at a 45-kilometer distance from Budapest, only a few kilometres away from freeway M7. The four-star, child-friendly spa-, wellness-, and conference hotel awaits guests with beautiful nature and a panoramic view of the lake and the surrounding hills. Recently opened, the hotel offers 56 superior rooms and 4 suites, joined by an additional 137 rooms and 4 suites from the second half of 2009. Rooms and suites overlook the lake, and have balconies. Apart from the bedroom, suites have a separate living room with an pull-out sofa, and the toilet is separated from the bathroom. Equipment in all rooms and suites includes air-conditioning, high-speed Internet access, Internet-based TV channels, cable TV, telephone, minibar, laptop-size in-room safe, hairdryer, bathrobe. There are connecting rooms for families, and extra bed or baby cot is available upon request. The conference rooms can accommodate up to 500 guests, while the spa offers relaxation in pools totalling a 1000 sqm water surface with 11 pools (outdoor, indoor, thermal, adventure, swimming and children's pools), an exclusive wellness centre along with saunas, ice- and tropical showers, traditional and eastern massages, treatments, fitness centre and two squash fields.
