Castle Hotel La Contessa is situated in Szilvasvarad, a settlement in pictoresque surroundings on a plateau of the Buk Mountains in the northern part of Hungary. The elegant hotel offers modern accommodation, an excellent restaurant, conference facilties, and a large wellness section.

The four-star-hotel welcomes guests in a throughly renovated historic castle building where the interior includes spacious corridors with lots of sunlight and glistering crystals, stylish furnishing, and elegant rooms. The ground floor offers 8 rooms, the first floor offers 21 rooms, and the mansard offers 16 rooms, all equipped with shower-bathroom, LCD TV, laptop-size safe, minibar, telephone, and Internet connection; about half of the rooms have their own Finnish saunas in the bathroom.
All rooms and common areas are non-smoking and smoking is allowed in the salon only. The building also includes a room with special equipment for the disabled, fit for wheelchair use.

The separate mansion, 100 metres away from the castle welcomes its guests with 35 rooms.

The 650 sqm wellness section offers an indoor pool with adventure features, a 6-person jacuzzi, a baby pool, Finnish, bio and aroma saunas, adventure showers, steam and Turkish baths, unique arga-therapy and thalasso treatments.
