A loud and hedonistic experience
Traditionally taking place at the end of August, the Parade serves as a finale to the summer season in Budapest. Something like a cross between London's Notting Hill Carnival and Berlin's (albeit defunct) Love Parade, thousands of revellers watch and follow the floats. The parade proper ends in a massive firework display, and then the fun really begins,
