Chair-lift from Zugliget to Janos-hegy

Chair-lift transports hikers and tourists in a popular green area of the Buda Hills, from Zugliget to János-hegy. The line runs up the hill, with a 262m horizontal level distance, which presents visitors with a splendid view of Budapest all through the 15 minute ride.

This special transportation is open to public all through the year, operating hours during the summer (May 16th-Sep 15th): 9am to 5pm, during the winter (Sep 16th-May 15th): 9.30am to 4pm. It shuts down every second Monday of each month.
