Baroque museumThe museum building was constructed for the Trinitarian order in the 18th century, while it was later transformed into a Baroque mansion and even served as a hospital. Today it is one of the museums of Budapest in perhaps the most picturesque of locations, surrounded by woods at the foot of Óbuda Hills. Its exhibitions embrace two major areas of collections from Budapest History Museum: modern urban history, and the fine art collection of the Municipal Gallery.
