Budapest State Opera

The State Opera House is located on one of the most beautiful streets of the capital, Andrassy ut and it's been designed by the famous architect Ybl Miklos, the interior being decorated by well-known Hungarian artists. The facade is a genuine masterpiece, and the wrought iron lamps at the entrance, the marble columns of the foyer, the murals on the vaulted ceiling, the magnificent main staircase, as well as the arches over the central stage, the sculptures of the royal box and the bronze chandeliers offer a spectacular sight.
