Good value for moneyReview of Hotel Charles, Budapest, Hungary"The hotel lived up to its 3 star grading, but the staff really made it shine as a 4. However we found the room quite outdated although they are currently renovating, but the location was a major downside. The city center is approx. 30min walk from hotel which at end of day was too far as we stayed such short time. There is also little to do in the evening at or around the hotel which again required travel to city center. I would recommend hotel if you were looking for very good value for money as rooms were clean, staff were more than helpful and the breakfast was just fantastic!" Young couple from Cork, Ireland (2006. 03. 30.)Comfortable, efficient hotel for commercial travellers.Review of Hotel Tulip Inn, Budapest, Hungary"Comfortable, efficient hotel generally aimed at commercial travellers. The rooms are clean and comfortable with good en-suite facilities. Situated a little out of town with no shops, restaurants or bars in the vicinity but only 4 stops from the city centre on Metro 3. Beware that the Metro closes around 23:00 so if you want to stay out partying late you will need a taxi back to the hotel. There was plenty of buffet breakfast but we didn't try the dinner menu. A lounge bar would be nice as the only place to get a drink is in the lobby - not particularly relaxing. The bar staff were great. See you soon." The staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was much better than expected. One piece of advice - avoid the hotel taxi... although convenient, they did take advantage (use a reputable local company instead). Overall we would thoroughly recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed." Andrew Bonner (Mature couple) from Bethesda, Gwynedd, United Kingdom (2006. 01. 17.) |
