Relatively good comfortReview of City Hotel Matyas, Budapest, Hungary"The best side of this smallish hotel is its location near everything. There are lots of traffic and noise just outside the hotel and its highly recommended to ask a quiet room situated on the patio side. You arrive easily from international Ferihegy airport by metro; the hotel is just few hundred meters from the Frenciek Tere station. And all the main attractions can be easily attained by public tarnsport. Route maps and information can be catched from the ticket counters of the metro stations but language problems can be anticipated. Don't forget to take a sightseeing tram drive along the Danube riverside. are easily. It was a great place to stay. The pools etc are fantastic and a great experience. It is a short walk from the City centre and close to transport." Carole Jenkins (Family with older child(ren)) from Sydney, NSW, Australia (2006. 11. 05.)Close to M2 - Hotel EbenReview of Hotel Eben, Budapest, Hungary"Smoking part of dining room adjacent to non-smoking part. All it takes is two smoking guests during breakfest time to make the non-smoking part, which is much larger, to stink of cigarette smoke. Same issue with my room. Some of my neighbours must have been smoking and somehow the smoke penetrated my room. I also think that the telephoone rates are fraudulent. I spent over 20 EUR on phone calls at 500 Ft/min. Had I known this I would've used my handy. These things do matter to me and although most things are very good about this hotel I'll never go back.
