Fabulous BudapestReview of Hotel Charles, Budapest, Hungary"Budapest is well worth a short visit and the Hotel Charles was great. Although it's not in the heart of things it is very easy to jump on a bus from right outside. The hotel was lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a great time!" JACQUI Cradock (Friends) from London, UK (2006. 11. 19.)An unforgettable visit in a hurry!Review of Hotel Charles, Budapest, Hungary"The Charles hotel was a perfect choice for us to spend 24 hours in the capital after a business trip to Debrecen! The apartment was cosy, warm and clean; the service at the reception - excellent and the breakfast more than substantial and delicious with the variety of food and homemade pastries! We will definitely recommend the hotel to our friends, as well as stay there again in the future!" Violeta Karastateva (Friends) from Varna, Bulgaria (2006. 11. 13.)A Confusing ExperienceReview of Danubius Hotel Gellert, Budapest, Hungary"There was a real dichotomy to my experience at the Gellert. The staff were lovely, and the public areas of the hotel were gorgeous. But the single room reminded me of the crappy little pensions I used to stay in when I traveled to Europe in the 80s I'm a large adult, and a single bed just doesn't cut it for me. You shouldn't have to rent a "double room" in order to get a "double bed." Plus the plumbing was bad, the bathroom smelled like an outhouse, and the sink had hair in in when I checked in . Yuck! I will not stay in the Gellert again." Ray Ivey (Solo traveler) from Los Angeles, CA, USA (2006. 11. 09.) |
