4 days in BudapestReview of City Hotel Pilvax, Budapest, Hungary"A very well located hotel in the middle of events of Budapest. We could go by foot almost everywhere. Nice and spacious rooms with very good beds and fresh clean linen and towels. The air condition is an asset in those hot summer days. The ventilation in the bathrooms (we had 2 rooms) was not good enough and the smell was bad. The room decoration is old fashioned and id disappointing at the beginning. Breakfast is buffet and yuo can eat as much as you like but it is boring the same everyday. The small portions of cakes given could be better and fresher especially that the hotel was located near a very nice an cheap baker store with cheap and fresh assortment." From the inital greeting of the front desk to the cleanliness, location, free internet and drinks throughout the day, to the breakfast, this hotel rates n A++++. Help with directions, restaurants, tours, to little things like complimentary umbrellas for the guests, this hotel should be the benchmark for every hotel in Europe. The free internet, via their computers was such a plus and a nice touch. Most hotels provide the service, but they actually had two computers to use. Considering we were on a whirl wind vacation, we were hesitant to bring our computers so it was such a joy to contact family and update them on our travels.
