Congress in BudapestReview of Novotel Budapest Centrum Hotel, Budapest, Hungary"Attending a congress is demanding, therefore a comfortable room where you can review the materials is important. The Novotel was excellent in this point, though there might have been some more light on the desk. Reception staff are efficient in providing directions in a city where you don't speak the language. In the bar you can have that good coffee you long for and it is served with a smile. Ordering breakfast in the room is however a catastrophy, if you do so you are certain to miss the first session of the meeting. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro from where you can easily reach the sport arena and the inner part of the city. " Solo traveler from Brussels, Belgium (2007. 09. 29.)Value for money at Hotel Helios PensionReview of Hotel Helios Pension, Budapest, Hungary"This is a pretty little "panzio" with average rooms: they are clean and quiet but ours was a bit cramped. It provides a decent buffet breakfast laid out by rather grumpy staff. The reception staff on the other hand couldn't be more helpful and really went out of their way to arrange things for us. It takes about 30 min each way to get in and out of the centre by bus, but we thought it was worth it for the sake of the peaceful hilltop location where we could leave the window open at night and not hear anything but the crickets. Overall for the price we felt it represented very good value." Very comfortable accommadations. We will recommend the Hotel Burg to all our friends." Carol and John Schoenfeld (Mature couple) from Mill Valley, CA, USA (2007. 09. 27.) |
