An Aesthetic Experience in BudaReview of Danubius Hotel Gellert, Budapest, Hungary"It was great to stay in this wonderful building with its art nouveau stained glass etc., and its scultured spa facilities for the same price as I have paid for boring modern hotels on previous visits. I always thought I couldn't afford the Gellert. Handy for the market and trams too. Finom!" Just a little distance from the centre of budapest but bus stop right outside and very cheap to get to town (about 50p); if your late getting in at night taxi form downtown to hotel is around Ł8, as there were 4 of us this was very reasonable. Budapest is a lovely city and the people are so friendly, eating out is very cheap and the food is mostly very good." Not in the city area but very good and cheap transport links. Great breakfast and good value for money. Friendly and helpful reception staff. No internet cafe in the hotel or nearby."
