Much surprised!Review of Danubius Hotel Gellert, Budapest, Hungary"I had a great stay as lone female and felt very safe and secure. Having read comments/reviews on Tripadvisor I was a bit unsure that I had done the right thing in changing my hotel for the Gellert - I'm so glad I did and would definately go back. Some customer service training would be beneficial as some staff - in pools/spa area were abrupt and cold. Saying that the reception staff were so welcoming and helpful as were the maid service. I can't wait to go back to Budpest and Gellert. One of the best equipped and pleasantly sized studios I have stayed in in any European city." Full modernisation of the rooms would ruin some of the character of the hotel. Otherwise the room was large, clean and roomy with character of the period that the hotel was built. The rest of the hotel has you in awe over the decoration. The spa was excellent." Andrew Higton (Young couple) from Colwyn Bay, UK (2008. 02. 23.) |
