GREAT EXPERIENCEReview of Danubius Hotel Gellert, Budapest, Hungary"We were going to celebrate aour 43 wedding aniverzary.we thought we have to go to a place where we could find wellnes and peace, so WE decided ,to go to BUDAPEST HUNGARY, We also read in a book, thet the hotel GELLERT,was one of the 1000 things you must see before you die,so we decided to make a reservation for the HOTEL GELLERT,we did trough BUDAPEST HOTEL START, AND WE DID MAKE ONE RESERVATION 4 FOR YOU TWO ROOMS INCLUDING FULL BREAKFAST, BATHS ON THE THERMAS On THE HOTEL AND TWO ROBES IN EACH ROOM. We invited our two grandaugthers maggie and marce 14 and 13 years old,they gave us theirs joy, youth so we left San Antonio Texas with them. we also reserved a transportation from an to de airport from Regina auto cars, also thwe rented a car in order to go to Heviz HUNGARY after the 4 nights we were on e Hotel gellert. EVERYTHING WAS AS PLANNED, WE ARE VERY THANKFUL WITH THE MANANGER ON DUTY MR ANDRAS SOLENZY , HE WAS VERY NICE PERSON WITH ALL OF US. THE ROOMS BEATIFUL FACING THE MONT GELLERT AND THE DANUBE, THE TERMAL BATHS WOUNDERFUL, WE GOT PEACE AND CURE . THE BRAZZERY EXCELLENT FOOD, THE BUSSINESS OFFICE THE LADYIS NAMED ANNIKA VEY NICE, THE TOUR IN BUDAPEST IN 16 LENGUAJES INCREDIBLE, WE REALLY ENJOY THE TOUR OF TWO HOURS. THE MARKET ON PEST FULL OF MERCHANDISE TIPICAL FROM HUNGARY, THE FRUIT AND VEGESTABLES MARKET VERY BIG. AFTER BEING 4 NIGHTS ON BUDAPEST WE LEFT TO HEVIZ TO OUR TIME SHARING HOLIDAY CLUB 1 HEVIZ WE SPEND 7 NIGHTS ABD WENT TO THE THERMAS IN THE HEVIZ DANUBIUS HOTEL THEY WERE ALSO FANTASTIC. Many years ago we visited Budapest, and wanted now to come back. Hotel Mercure City Center was recommended to us at a Travel Exhibition in Helsinki, January 2008. We made the hotel reservation through Internet. In general, we enjoyed our stay in Budapest and Hotel Mecure in March 2008. The location of the hotel is excellent (in the beginning, the hotel entrance at Petöfi Sandor u. side was somewhat difficult to identify). Positive issues were, among others, good breakfast, friendly and helpful people at the reception desk, and tasty snacks in the lobby bar. We greatly appreciated the cleanliness of our room. Even if it was not possible to have dinner in the hotel, there were numerous good restaurants at the vicinity. It would be nice to make coffee or tea in the hotel room. There remains still much to be seen and experienced in Budapest, not to speak of the surrounding areas outside the City.
