The Hotel receptionists,waiters and bar staff were always so friendly and helpfull and were obviously happy in their jobs.The location of the Hotel was absolutely perfect for seeing all the major sights of Budapest,and also ideal for spending lots of time and money on nearby Vaci utca,the main shopping street." It is a privillege to stay there and enjoy the ambience, starting at the welcome at the front door through to the lady in the lift down to the thermal baths. Our room was lovely and the situation of the hotel excellent. We made good use of Budapests's trams and buses and the Gellert is very handy for this. Definitely worth a repeat visit. It was also nice to see "our" hotel on Michael Palin's " New Europe" on May 27th." This unique town is vey different from the average hungarian towns. Everywhere the perfectly manicured vegetation and clean streets can be enjoyed. The Danubius Aqua hotel is no exeption. The new all inclusive program ensures that you don`t have to worry about the food and you can dedicate yourself to the luxury facilities of the hotel. The spa with the in and outdoor "fun pools" are a nice surprise! The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly (all speak german which is almost an official language) the food is fantastic.
