Review of Hotel Helios Pension, Budapest, Hungary

"I would most certainly stay in the pension again, even though it's 20 minutes by bus into the city. The clean air and natural beauty of the Buda hills makes a welcome contrast to the humid heat of the city. I had a truly wonderful stay at the pension Helios and fell hopelessly in love with Budapest. I can't wait to return. Kosonom szepen."

Review of Danubius Hotel Gellert, Budapest, Hungary

"We were very pleased with the hotel. We had a nice room at the front with small balcony overlooking the Danube. Hotel staff excelent and the dining facilities were excellent with a huge choice of food at breakfast and a reasonably priced restaurant in the evening. The hotel has an excellent location within easy walk of the central market, cafes and shops. It also has a spa centre with two swimming pools free to guests. These were excellent and very art deco. Public transport was available right outside the hotel. The transport system is excellent, very cheap and frequent. The only problem we had was lack of air con in the room. The hotel did provide a large fan which helped. On the week we stayed the temperatures were in the 90's which was somewhat unusual. Overall we had a lovely time. We can highly recommend both Budapest and the hotel and would definitley visit both again."

Review of Danubius Hotel Astoria, Budapest, Hungary

"Although the entry at the reception desk needs to be modernised and does not promise too much, the rooms in the modernised part of the hotel are actually great and offer a lot of value for money. Location is also perfect for touring the city. Excellent breakfast. Recommended!"
