The city of Miskolc is situated in the northeastern part of Hungary, in Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen County, at the feet of the Buk Mountain. Miskolctapolca, now part of the city of Miskolc, located, at a 5-km distance from the centre, was once called Gorombolytapolca. It has a famous cave spa, offering aboundant natural beauty and exellent thermal water.
The Adventure Park in Miskolctapolca was built in the woods surrounding the local boating lake. On close to 1000sqm land, 25 adventure fields operate in the easy, hard, and extreme category, 3-11 metres off the ground. Safety equipment is available, as well as experienced guides. The adventure park is open every day from the middle of June until the end of August (the main season), from 10am until 7pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays only during off-season.
