The Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) has a history spanning 225 years. Located on the southern, yet central part of the Buda side of the capital, along the Danube, the campus is easy to access by public transportation. The campus is bordered by Gellert hill and Gellert Square to the north, the river to the east, the line of Lagymanyosi bridge to the south, and Budafoki-Bogdanfy street to the west.
