Gottsegen György National Cardilogy Institute - Budapest

Georg Gottsegen National Cardilogy Institute, the Gottsengen György Országos Kardiológiai Intézet is situated in the southern part of downtown Budapest, on the Pest side of the Hungarian capital, in the 9th district. The institution was established in 1957, but at first operated in different hospital sections, until receiving its own building in 1977, which was added to in 1983. The children section was built in 2000, the institute has since been able to serve heart patients from newborn to old age.
Outpatient services include a central adult cardiology ambulance, an ergometry and Holter specialized amulance, the echocardiography specialized ambulace, the angiology specialized ambulance, the risk factors and hypertony ambulance, the diabetes section, the arrythm section, the pacemaker ambulance, the isotop-diagnostic labratory, and the heart muscle disorder ambulance.
