The Illovszky Rudolf Stadium is situated in the northern part of Budapest, on the Pest side of the capital, in between Fáy street and Béke boulevard. Built in 1960-61, it belongs to the Vasas sport club. The facility includes a central soccer field, surrounded by a stand for 18 thousand spectactors (most of these are standing places), several other open-air soccer fields (one covered by a tent during the winter), an open-air handball court, and a building with a handball court, boxing and wrestling halls.
