The Király – King Spa was built during the middle of the 16th century, under Turkish reign. It does not have its own fountain, but receives water from the area of the Lukacs Spa. The historical spa was renovated in 1950, now offering four thermal pools, a Finnish sauna and steam cabins. Women are welcome on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8am until 7pm, men are welcome on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9am until 8pm, while it is available for joint use on Sundays.
The spa is situated on the Buda side of the capital, in the second district, close to the Danube bank, south of Margaret island and the bridge.
