The village of Aggtelek is located in the northeastern corner of Hungary, at a 50-km distance from Miskolc, right at the Slovak border. The Baradla Cave is one of the most famous dolomite caves in Hungary. It is also the longest and the best-surveyed dripstone cave of the country. Visitors may enjoy a wide variety of beautiful formations, while following a streamline. The enchanting world of the cave can be discovered with the help of professional guides. The cave is open all year around, from 9am until 7pm from the beginning of April until the end of September, and until 4pm during the winter months.
