The town of Kecskemet, located southeast of Budapest, offers a pretty downtown area with a unique atmosphere, as well as historic and cultural sights to visitors. The Townhouse was built at the end of the 19th century, in Art Nouveau style. English and French architectural motives blend with Eastern patterns. Some of the ornaments were made in the Zsolnay Porcelain Factory.
