||||||
The town of Kecskemet offers a great number of historic and cultural sites in the Hungarian Plain, southeast of Budapest. The Cifrapalota - Gaudy Palace in Kecskemet was built in 1902, in Art Nouveau style. Ornaments on the façade include various folk patterns. The colourful roof tiles were made in the Zsolnay Porcelain Factory. The building received its name from the people, due to its appearance.
The Art Gallery of Kecskemet is located in the Gaudy Palace, open every day except for Mondays. The gallery presents artwork from the best Hungarian artists. ![]() ![]() Kecskemét - Gaudy Palace - nearest hotels
