The Mansion of Felsobuk was originally built during the last decades of the 18th century, followed by eclectic-style remodeling a century later. The first owner, Paul Felsobuki Nagy, was an outstanding rhetorician of his era, a politician in the national parliament, a member of the Hungarian Academy of Science.
