The city of Gyor is located in western Hungary, by the small lowland � Kisalfold, where three rivers join. It is also called the city of rivers. As the M1 freeway lays right by the city, it can be easily accessed both from Budapest and from Vienna. The local climate is continental, but the summer months are somewhat cooler, the winter months somewhat milder than in the rest of the country.
