The city of Miskolc is situated east of the Buk Mountain, in northeastern Hungary. The highest part of the city is Lillafured, located along the Szinva and the Garadna streams, stretching into the Buk plateau.
The clearwater lakes of Tiszafured are excellent for trouts, long-time resident species in the area. The Reservoir works with 18 ponds. From the beginning of May until the end of September, a forest fish roast place welcomes hungry guests. Fishing permits are available for an 8-km section of the Garadna stream.
